My new monitor

written by Ryan Olshan on Wednesday, April 26 2006

My laptop had a display problem about 6 months ago and as a result the display was messed up, so I purchased a desktop. At the time, I borrowed a co-workers 15" bulky monitor. After feeling bad for the many times I heard, "My daughter wants her computer back" I finally purchased a 20" LCD widescreen monitor today. I got a ViewSonic VA2012wb. It's sweeet. The resolution is 1680 x 1050. It's almost like 2 monitors in 1 because it's widescreen. I can now be a tad bit more productive as I won't have to switch back and forth between windows as frequently.

I heard ViewSonic is a pretty good brand. I know somebody who's had ViewSonic flats that have lasted 10 years. So, if anything happens, I sure hope it's within the 3 year warranty period.
