Microsoft MVP Global Summit 2007

written by Ryan Olshan on Wednesday, March 14 2007

I met Terri Morton (one day I'll be able to link her name to a blog) at the Cincinnati / Kentucky airport on Sunday and we flew out on the same flight to Seattle. The rest of the afternoon was uneventful. At night, I partied with Palermo. After that I was off to dinner with Terri Morton, Jason Alexander, Scott Watermasysk, and Scott Dockendorf at the Palace Kitchen. There were many yummy things on the menu such as an omelet with fried oysters and pickled peppers. I had to ask the waiter what was safe to eat. A scanned version of that menu will be posted soon.

Monday was registration day and Tuesday-Thursday the MVP Summit. Since the event was covered under an NDA, I can't discuss the summit. But, I can say that there are some exciting things ahead.

I was supposed to return home to Virginia on Friday, but only made as far as the Cincinnati airport in Kentucky. Terri Morton and I got stranded at some place called the Drawbridge Premier. It's a place I never want to go back to. The lady at the airport made it sound so nice. Words can't describe it. I couldn't get a confirmed flight to Washington, DC until Tuesday, so I decided to take the Greyhound home, another place I never want to go back to. Now I'm off to go retrieve my luggage.
