I'm now part of the Firefox crowd

written by Ryan Olshan on Sunday, March 12 2006

I think I finally have weaned myself from Internet Explorer onto Firefox and I'm in love with it. This is my first blog entry written on FF. I was using IE 7 Beta 2, and among the memory leaks and the 2nd time the font got really big on its own where I couldn't size it down was the deciding factor. My favorite bug in IE 7 Beta 2 is when a number of tabs, somewhere between 40-60, is opened in one instance of IE, IE shuts down. No warning of "good-bye" or "it was nice knowing you". It just closes. I'll still use IE for things that don't look or work correct in FF. Thanks to Charles Carroll for pushing me into using FF and introducing me to the TabMixPlus plug-in which I am somewhat in love with. TabMixPlus does so many things that I couldn't begin to describe them all here. I've also noticed that Outlook 2003 is not as slow.
