On Tuesday of this week, I adopted a 15 year old Cairn Terrier mix from the Carson shelter in Los Angeles County. For those of you that aren't familiar with the LA County animal shelter system, it's very high kill and he would of no doubt been put to death there. He has three teeth left, all of which will most likely be pulled when we visit the vet tomorrow morning, and his left front paw is amputated. I'm a sucker for older dogs and my aim is to make him feel loved, something that he most likely didn't get to experience as he much as he should of in his previous life. He's slowly becoming spoiled and is a very spunky and outgoing dog. He gets along with my two cats and vice versa. Well, the male cat, Tiger, is a bit hissy with him at times, but they get along nevertheless. He spent some time with Robblehead today and they got along quite well too.
